Introduction
Non-Violence in society? Political apathetic is more problematic than ignorance. How to across over inequality to reach peace and stability is harder than fighting with regimes. Arts as one of sensitive logics in our society, only when public exhibition have become a common issue in a society, then a position on politics and social issues could stand firmly.
Taiwan’s Martial Law had enacted from 1949 to 1987, which making Taiwan become one of countries had long lasting military ruling country. After Martial Law has abolished for 30 years, Taiwan’s grand justices made constitutional interpretation on Marriage Equality Case (no. 748, 2017/5/24) to verdict marriage limited to men and women is unconstitutional, which opens a hope that Taiwan might be the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage by May, 2019.
2018 Co-Exist LGBT Art Exhibition in Thailand-Non Politics/ Non Violence is showing the relationship between gender, politics and violence, and difference perspective before and after Taiwan’s gay marriage might be legalized in the coming months.
